Work with all your tasks in Basecamp

TOBI can import all your Basecamp Todo Items into Microsoft Outlook. Or all your Todos and Milestones. Or everyones Todo Items. Or everyones Todo Items and Milestones. And do this across all your Basecamp projects. In other words, you have lots of options and can quickly use Outlook's rich viewing and sorting features to quickly organize, prioritize and even customize your tasks

Not everyone needs to be an Outlook power user. TOBI also makes it easy to choose a specific set of Basecamp projects and import just those into Outlook. The benefit is your tasks will then be part of Outlooks task management, including the reminders and calendar entries to make sure you see what needs to be done.

Not Synchronzing-- Tethering!

There's even internet access on airplanes these days, so we take a page from the same playbook as Basecamp and assume you are online 99% of your workday. This means we can improve the MS Outlook/Basecamp connectivity by having MS Outlook changes immediately written to Basecamp. Conversely, TOBI can check for changes to tasks you are tracking on Basecamp every 15 minutes (by default) and automatically make the appropriate updates in Outlook. The end result is your Outlook and Basecamp will stay in sync automatically.

But what about that 1%?

If you do need to go into an internet proof area, TOBI will remember the changes you make and place them in a queue. When you rejoin the connected world, TOBI will compare your changes with Basecamps and ask you if we want to use your tasks or Basecamp's Todo Items.

Connect to Multiple Basecamp Accounts

Some folks have all their Basecamp projects running in a single account. Others use multiple Basecamp accounts to separate Basecamp projects for multiple clients. TOBI works well with either scenario, all you need to provide are the Basecamp entry URLs. For each URL TOBI will find the visible Basecamp projects and let you select how many to bring into Outlook.

Comments and Attachments Visible Within Outlook

Todo Items are much more that just a due date, they can also contain rich comments and attachments. TOBI pulls in comments and attachments so that they are viewable within Outlook as well, which reduces cumbersome context switches between Outlook and your web browser for important Todo information.
