MS Project 2007 Share with SharePoint duplicates tasks

I have been successful in creating my tasks in MS Project 2007 and uploading them to the Project Task list in SharePoint. I am using a stand alone version of MS Project 2007 and connecting to SharePoint WSS 3.0. I do disconnect from SharePoint at the end of each day. Subsequent IntelliGantt "Share" connections from MS Project to SharePoint replicate all the tasks again in SharePoint. I do not want that but would rather have existing tasks updated and then only the new tasks added in Project go over to SharePoint. Using the "Update" feature the Reporter gets hung up on one particular task that does need to be updated and SharePoint goes to a white blank screen. How do I accomplish just updating and manage the SharePoint connection/screen?

In my case, it is a Project 2007 file using Project 2010 as the application. If I unshare (in order to synch a different project) and then share again, it seems to not recognize that the project tasks in SharePoint are the same ones in Project (where they originated). Similarly, if another person opens the same Project file and tries to share to the same SharePoint project task list, it doesn't only duplicate the tasks, but it duplicates the entire hierarchy (summary tasks and tasks).

Does anybody know if the latest update to the MS Project add-in for Project 2010 addresses this issue?

Yes, multiple project managers working on the same MS Project mpp file will have a much better experience with the IntelliGantt Add In for MS Project 2010. All connection information is stored within the file itself, including ids for SharePoint task list items. This means that if connection data is in the mpp file and the items it points to already exist, then they will not be duplicated.

For some reason i get this even with the MS Project 2010 - after the 1st sync, everytime i sync duplicate task are created on sharepoint
