Introduction

The IntelliGantt Web Part can be placed on any SharePoint page.

Simple Gantt Chart Edits

The visuals in the Gantt chart respond to the mouse. Drag an endpoint to make a task longer. Drag the center of a task to move it on the timeline. Hold the SHIFT key down to turn a milestone into a task with duration. Drag from an endpoint to another task to create a dependency.

Add & Remove Tasks

Task and Summary Tasks can be added and removed to and from the task list by clicking on the '+' and '-' icons. If you hold the SHIFT key down while clicking '+' you will create a summary task.

Assign SharePoint Members

One or more SharePoint members can be assigned to a task. IntelliGantt uses autocomplete and the tasks's 'Assigned To' settings to help make it easier.

Using List Views

The views defined for your SharePoint Task list are what the IntelliGantt Web Part uses to define the task list columns you see.

Drag & Drop to Add Documents

You can drag and drop files from your desktop onto the tasks in the IntelliGantt Web Part to add attachments or documents to a Shared Documents library.

Selecting Lists & Subsites

Select a single list for all users via the web part properties or include task lists from sub sites via the web part properties.

Install SP 2010 & Office 365

The IntelliGantt Web Part supports the new sandbox feature for SharePoint 2010 that makes adding the web part a snap. This method also works for Office 365 SharePoint.
